八月二十六日至九月四日,山西省棉花学会考察组一行十一人,赴塔里木河和玛纳斯河垦区部分植棉团场和科研单位进行了实地考察,听取了各垦区棉花生产科研情况的介绍,并就共同关注的棉花优质高产若干技术问题交流了情况和经验。 考察期间,考察组同志分别在阿克苏、农二师31团、石河子农学院作了棉花病虫草害的发生及其防治,地膜棉花栽培技术与棉花育种,棉花的加工与销售管理问题的学术报告。同时还介绍了山西省1984年赴美国德萨斯州棉花生产及病虫害综合防治考察的收获与体会。
