昨天,省九届人大常委会第五次会议,通过了德江同志辞去省人大常委会主任职务和我辞去省长职务的请求,同时通过了洪虎同志任省政府副省长、代省长的决定。昨天下午,我和洪虎同志到会上与省人大常委会各位副主任、委员见了面,洪虎同志讲了一番话,讲的非常好。我正式到省委工作去了,政府有关工作,我已同洪虎同志傲了交接。今天,实际上没有什么话要说了。首先感谢各位在我任省长期间对政府工作的全力支持和帮助,同时表个态,省委将全力支持政府工作,把政府工作搞好。政府的各位组成人员有什么困难需要省委帮助解决,可以随时提出。我想工作上的交接没什么了,要说就是我任省长3年时间留下了不少问题,现在还没有彻底解决或没有找到解决这些问题的好办法,实际上把工作中的难题留给洪虎同志了。

I must say that I have left a lot of problems in my three years as governor. Now I have not thoroughly solved or failed to find a good solution to these problems.
