煤层气是赋存在煤层中以甲烷为主要成分,以吸附在煤基质的表面为主,并部分游离于煤孔隙中或溶解于煤层水中的烃类气体。它与煤层相共生,具有“自生自储”的特点,为非常规天然气,其资源量丰富,在未来的生产生活中可以取代煤炭、石油、天然气等其他有限的、不可再生的资源。开发煤层气可实现节能优先、改善能源结构、让环境保护与能源同步发展的目的,其潜力之大不可想象,开发前景非常乐观。在开发的过程中,同时减少了煤矿瓦斯事故的发生,可谓“一石四鸟”。通过近十几年来对地质理论研究和实地勘查,已取得一定的成效。
Coalbed methane is the hydrocarbon gas existing in coal seams, mainly composed of methane, adsorbed on the surface of the coal matrix and partially free from the pores of coal or dissolved in coal seam water. It is symbiotic with coal seam and has the characteristic of “self-generation and self-storage”. It is an unconventional natural gas with abundant resources. It can replace other limited and non-renewable resources such as coal, petroleum and natural gas in the future production and life. Development of coalbed methane can achieve priority energy conservation, improve energy structure, environmental protection and energy for simultaneous development purposes, its potential is unimaginable, the development prospect is very optimistic. In the process of development, while reducing the incidence of coal mine gas accidents can be described as “a stone four birds.” Through nearly ten years of geological theory and field exploration, has achieved some success.
