同志们! 山西省语言文字工作会议,经过全体与会同志的共同努力,历时两天半,达到了预期的目的,今天就要结束了。在会议即将胜利闭幕的时候,我讲以下两点意见。一、对这次会议的基本估价这次会议是我省语言文字工作委员会成立之后召开的第一次工作会议,也是我省第一次全省性的语言文字工作会议。大家一致认为:这次会议开得及时,很有必要,是一次解决问题的务实的会议。有以下三个特点: 一是领导重视。在年底工作繁忙、经费紧张的情况下,省里决定召开这次会议本身就体现了领导的重视。会议开幕时,省政府罗广德副秘书长到会作了重要讲话,国家语委副主任曹先擢教授专程从北京赶来,作了重要报告,并始终和与会同志一起参加会议。今天上午吴达才副省长在百忙中来看望与会同志,并讲了话,充分说明了国家语委和省政府领导对语言文字工作的重视。领导的重视,给了与会同志很深的教育,很大的鼓舞。 Comrades! At the close of the meeting, I will make the following comments. At the opening of the conference, Deputy Secretary-General Luo Guangde of the provincial government made an important speech at the meeting. Professor CAO Xian-xian, deputy director of the National Committee of Chinese Language and Culture, made a special trip to Beijing from which he made important reports and always attended the meeting with his comrades. Wu Dacai, Vice Governor of the Province, came to visit the comrades in his busy schedule this morning and made a speech, fully demonstrating the emphasis placed by the leaders of the State and Provincial Government on the work of language and writing. The leadership’s emphasis on giving comrades a deep education, a great encouragement.
