周必大基于重视道德实践的传统儒家观念,对道学学派当中存在的道统意识过于强烈、贪名弃实的中人现象提出了善意的提醒与批评。基于少讲或不讲抽象义理的立场,在与朱熹关于欧阳修的争论当中,周必大通过否定欧阳修“自言学道三十余年”这一记载的真实性,也表达了他对道学家致力于对道学言说之风的不满。对于周必大所批评的这些道学负面现象,道学家基于自身不同理论立场也有所注意与批评。从道学发展史的角度来看,对这些问题进行充分的理论分析,有利于全面展现道学在乾道至庆元之间的处境。
Based on the traditional Confucianism that emphasizes moral practice, Zhou Bida made a goodwill reminder and criticism of the phenomenon of the Taoist school that the morality of the Taoism was too strong and the name and abstain from being honest. Based on his argument with Zhu Xi about Ouyang Xiu, based on the fact that Zhou Xiaobu denied Ouyang Xiu’s account of “self-learning for more than thirty years,” he expressed his belief that Taoists devote themselves to dissatisfaction with the rhetoric of Taoism. From the perspective of the history of Taoism, a full theoretical analysis of these issues is conducive to a comprehensive display of the situation of Taoism in the trunk road to Qingyuan.
