Objective To investigate the characteristics and clinical significance of serum immunoglobulin and C-reactive protein in children with hand-foot-mouth disease. Methods A total of 110 children with hand-foot-mouth disease were selected as research group and 90 healthy children were selected as control group. The levels of serum immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, IgM) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in the study group and the control group were respectively measured. The levels of each index in the study group and the control group were compared. Results In the early stage of HFMD, M immunoglobulin level and high sensitive C reactive protein were higher in the study group than in the control group. The levels of type A immunoglobulin and G immunoglobulin in the study group were lower than those in the control group, Compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The combined detection of serum immunoglobulin and C-reactive protein in children with hand-foot-mouth disease has important clinical significance in early diagnosis of hand-foot-mouth disease.
