白山坪矿井在1997年秋季的两场暴雨中,因山洪暴发,河水猛涨,导致地表水沿着砾岩空洞长驱直入,造成井下涌水量突增(涌水量最高达2500m3/h),曾两度被淹,直接损失达1800多万元。为了彻底根治矿井水患威胁,白山坪矿采用了地面帷幕注浆法来阻断地面水向矿井溃入的通道,达到根治水患的目的。经多年来实践证明,帷幕注浆已取得很好的成果,达到预期目的。
