目前教师在教学活动中对培养学生智力的认识,开始由自发阶段进入自觉阶段。这就是说,教师逐步改变了把发展学生的智力当作传授和学习知识的一种手段的认识,开始自觉地认识到把发展学生的智力当作教学的一项独立的专门的任务来完成。这是一个十分可喜的成果。但同时也应当看到,深入地探讨教学中学生智力发展的规律,研究教学中有关培养学生智力的各种问题,总结这方面的经验,还是相当艰巨的任务。这里仅就几个问题谈点想法。
At present, teachers’ awareness of cultivating students’ intelligence in teaching activities begins from the spontaneous stage to the self-conscious stage. This means that teachers gradually changed their understanding of the development of students’ intelligence as a means of imparting and learning knowledge, and began to consciously realize that the development of students’ intelligence is an independent and dedicated task for teaching. This is a very gratifying result. At the same time, it should also be seen that it is still a very arduous task to thoroughly discuss the laws of intellectual development in teaching middle school students, study various problems concerning the cultivation of students’ intelligence in teaching, and summarize the experience in this field. There are only a few questions to discuss here.
