1979年在广东石人嶂钨矿发生了一次大规模地压活动。由于冒落前进行了有效的观测,加强了现场管理,积极实行了防范措施,所以在大垮落期间没有发生人身伤亡事故,把地压破坏造成的损失降到较低的程度;职工思想情绪稳定,矿山恢复生产较快,这无疑是向地压灾害做斗争的一个好经验。如今虽事隔已有几年,仍有不少同志前往调查研究吸取经验。最近矿山同志来信,希望把他们写的总结文章在本刊刊登,以供更多的矿山工作者参考借鉴。
