“Movement” and “quietness” are two important contradictions in the dialectical relationship that exists in nature. Everything in the entire universe is constantly moving, and quiescence is relative. Of course, there is a dialectical relationship between “movement” and “quietness” in mathematical problems. Making full use of this dialectic relationship is of great importance for cultivating students’ abilities, developing students’ intelligence, and training students’ thinking. In junior high school mathematics, problems related to “movement” are a key and difficult point. Thinking and answering such questions can fully utilize the dialectical relationship between the “continuity” and the “quiet” contradiction.
