《生活》周刊,1925年10月由中华职教社创办于上海。在我国现代杰出的新闻战士、著名政论家、出版家邹韬奋接办之前,该刊每期只印两千份左右,且大多赠给职教社社员。自1926年10月24日第2卷第1期起改由韬奋主编后,该刊销量迅速上升,至“九·一八”事变前,已增加到12万份;“九·一八”事变后,更增到15万5千份,创当时全国杂志发行量纪录。探究韬奋办刊成功的原因,许多文章已指出这与韬奋与时俱进的思想、与他在事业中的创造精神及当时整个社会形势的发展变化是分不开的。此外,如果从报刊经营管理的角度看,对经济上独立自主的《生活》周刊而言,韬奋在广告经营上的成功也是该刊获得不断发展的重要因素之一。正如韬奋所
