第62届IFLA大会中国组委会5月25日在北京中南海召开了第二次全体会议。大会组委会主席、国务委员兼国务院秘书长罗干,组委会执行主席、文化部部长刘忠德出席会议并讲话。会议由组委会常务副主席、文化部副部长刘德有主持。组委会秘书长杜克作了组委会成立7个月来的筹备工作汇报。 与会代表认为,1995年是大会筹备工作的关键一年,大会能否成功在很大程度上取决于今年的筹备工作。罗干指出:’96北京IFLA大会不仅是图书馆界的事,也不仅是文化部的事,它是文化、教育、科技界的一次盛会,应得到社会各界的关心和支持。刘忠德在讲话中强调要加强对内对外宣传的力度,让
The 62nd IFLA China Organizing Committee held its second plenary session in Zhongnanhai, Beijing on May 25. Chairman of the Organizing Committee, State Councilor Luo Gan, Secretary-General of the State Council, Executive Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Minister of Culture Liu Zhongde attended the meeting and made speeches. The meeting was chaired by Liu Deyou, Executive Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture. The organizing committee secretary-general Duke made a report on preparations for organizing the organizing committee over the past seven months. The participants believed that 1995 was a crucial year for the preparations for the conference. The success of the conference depends to a large extent on this year’s preparatory work. Luo Gan pointed out: ’96 Beijing IFLA Conference is not only a matter for the library community, nor is it a mere matter for the Ministry of Culture. It is a grand gathering for culture, education and science and technology that deserves the concern and support of all sectors of society.
