2010“巨人杯”当代艺术院校大学生年度提名展和2011“关注未来艺术英才”计划让青年艺术家田晓磊被广泛关注。田晓磊的艺术生涯可以说是从徐悲鸿中学开始的,在那里他接受了三年素描和色彩基础教育;后来又经过北京市工艺美术学校类似于大学教育方式的培养,开阔了在艺术领域的眼界;而随后经历漫长的复读时光,他考入了中央美术学院,由此不仅奠定了他扎实的数码创作基础也开启了对于他来说最重要的思维转换时期,形成了日后他通过当代艺术创作手法对社会问题质疑和反思。
