The slab surface temperature distribution of Pangang slab caster was measured under industrial production conditions. The mathematical model of two-dimensional heat transfer in solidification and cooling of continuous casting slab was established. The effects of continuous casting process parameters on the thermal state of billet were comprehensively discussed. In-depth analysis and discussion on the control of the solidification end point and simulation results of the slab insulation delivery.
