Since 2000, when the Central Government of India implemented the “IT Implementation Plan 2000” and provided legal certification for electronic interaction, the Andhra Pradesh government (GoAP in India) installed many e-government facilities. As part of these facilities, GoAP has established an e-Marketplace platform connecting government agencies, agencies, local organizations and their suppliers. The main goals of this e-procurement facility are: to reduce supplier and government transaction time and costs; to optimize the value of invested funds by preventing monopolies and increasing competition; to standardize the procurement process across government departments; to increase purchasing power through concentrated demand; One-stop shop for purchasing activities; Equal opportunity for all suppliers; Increased transparency and ultimately reduced corruption.
