The application of relay technology in codec radio communication can solve the difficult problem of long distance or communication blind area in seismic exploration. According to the types of stations configured by SSS-300 codec, the paper discusses the structure and operation of two types of relay stations. The SSS-300 codec radiocommunication relay technology has attractive prospect in seismic exploration.
