在我国著名大地构造学家,中国科学院长沙大地构造研究所所长、中南矿冶学院副院长陈国达教授指导下,由国家地震局广州地震大队(主编)、中南矿冶学院地质系、湖南省地震队、武汉地震大队等单位按地洼说及递进说编制的1:400万中国大地构造图已由地图出版社于1980年7月重印出版,新华书店和国际书店在国内外发行。
