10月12日,中通客车一楼会议室内里座无虚席,中通客车2009年度媒体座谈会隆重召开,来自中国交通报、中国汽车报、《驾驶园》杂志社、中国客车网、中国道路运输网等16家行业媒体的编辑、记者们与中通客车主要部室、事业部负责人共聚一堂,探讨未来国内客车市场发展方向及中通客车发展机遇。此次媒体座谈会以双向的交流为主,一方面,中通客车各部门负责人向媒体介绍一年来公司的发展与成绩,正在或即将采取的战略,并就发展中可能出现的问题向媒体征求意见;另一方面众媒体则就自身所感、所遇或所闻的中通客车存在的各种问题和不足向中通客车各部门、事业部负责人提出意见和建议。
