莲花山钨矿是1956年在我国首先发现的一种新类型钨矿床。原广东911地质队做了工业评价(1957—1960),黎彤等做了矿床地质学研究,并出版了专著。近年来,这类钨矿床受到国内外矿床学者的广泛注意,在我国其它省份也有类似的钨矿床发现。因此,进一步查明这类钨矿床的成因类型和成矿规律,对今后在我国东部广大的中生代酸性火山岩地区内继续寻找同类型钨矿床将有重要指导意义。
Lotus Hill Tungsten is the first type of tungsten deposit discovered in China in 1956. The former Guangdong Geological Team 911 made an industrial evaluation (1957-1960), and Li Tong made a deposit geology study and published monographs. In recent years, this kind of tungsten deposit has been widely noticed by domestic and foreign depositors, and similar tungsten deposits have been found in other provinces of our country. Therefore, to further ascertain the genesis type and metallogenic regularity of these tungsten deposits, it is of great significance to continue to find the same type of tungsten deposits in the vast Mesozoic acidic volcanic rocks in the eastern part of our country in the future.
