In the past, in the study of European humanitarianism, in order to emphasize the role of historical progress, they tended to emphasize only their anti-feudalism while ignoring their anti-theological features. In order to show that the ancient humanitarian system in China had existed, Often it speaks to the similarities between the two systems, with little regard for their differences. The author believes that correcting these two kinds of deviations is of great significance not only for the study of humanitarian issues itself, but also for critically inheriting this longstanding ideological and cultural tradition and carrying it forward under socialism.
