Indonesia’s domestic capitalist class can be divided into several types of economic and political overlap. At one level, it can be divided into a wide range of petty-bourgeois hierarchs such as merchants and manufacturers, as well as larger corporate units that combine international capital with state capital. At another level, it can be divided into different capital components such as financial capital, manufacturing capital, commercial capital and agricultural capital. In order to seek influence over policy, obtain political protection, and combine with international capital and state capital, various enterprise departments also conducted economic and political competition. However, in the development of Indonesian capitalist class, it has been proved that the basic factor may be the profound political and social divisions between Chinese capital and indigenous capital. The struggle between them is always one of the parties that wants to infringe and annex the other party.
