一、概述土体在渗流作用下,需要设置滤层加以保护,以免发生土颗粒的过量流失或管涌现象。过去多以砂、砾和卵、碎石等粒状材料,按照颗粒的粗细分层铺设,做成保护土体的反滤层。用土工织物代替粒状材料,具有施工简便、容易保证质量、造价相应比较低廉等优点。土工织物滤层的作用,与粒料滤层基本相同,一般应满足:在被保护土中不发生管涌现象;具有一定的透水性,以防止由于排水不畅而形成局部压力增高,造成不稳定状态。
