一、结合原有旧站房的新旧平面组合随着公路汽车客运的发展,枝江县汽车客运站的旧站房由于功能设施老化且极不配套,不能适应形势发展的需要。作为宜昌的东大门及枝江的门户与枝江的地位极不相称。根据省计委对省交通厅关于扩建枝江县汽车客运站计划任务书的批复,主站房在原有旧站房的基础上进行扩建,扩建后新站房的规模为日发送3500人次,即二级站标准。
