1973年5月23日,在巩县农村,29天连续作画74幅的王式廓,突发脑溢血,倒在自己的画架旁,粗大的手还紧紧地握着一把画笔。一代名师静静地走了,人们痛惜这茫茫苍穹中一颗巨星的殒落。风风雨雨、30年过去了,我常常不禁静夜沉思:王式廓的艺术人生是怎样走过来的?闪烁的巨星是怎样升起、又是如何陨落的?从巨星升起到陨落的弧线,正反映了一段现代中国美术发展的坎坷艰辛历史。这条壮美的弧线表现了巨星的高度,也蕴藏着艺术发展的规律和深刻的教训。从王式廓的生平历史与艺术实践中去探寻,人们就可以发现这弧线的奥秘与轨迹,剥离出其合理的内核,体悟艺术生命的真正本源,摸索“中华文艺复兴”途径的去向。为纪念我的艺术启蒙恩师逝世30周年,谨发表尚待完成的先师评传《王式廓的艺术人生》中部分章节,以表达我深深的怀念。
On May 23, 1973, in the rural area of Gong County, 74 consecutive Wang style drawings were made in 29 days, resulting in sudden stroke and falling beside his own easel. The thick hand was still tightly holding a brush. A generation of famous teachers quietly left, people deplore the vast sky in a giant falling. The ups and downs, 30 years later, I often can not help but meditate on the night: Wang style artistic life is coming? Blinking superstar is rising, but also how the fall? From the rising star to fall arc, is It reflects the rough and hard history of the development of modern Chinese art. This magnificent arc shows the height of the superstar, but also contains the law of art development and profound lessons. From Wang’s life history and artistic practice, people can discover the mystery and trajectory of this arc, peel off its reasonable core, understand the true origin of artistic life and explore the whereabouts of the “Chinese Renaissance” approach. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of my artistic enlightenment mentor, I would like to express my deep remembrance of some of the prefaced chapters of the prequel to the art of Wang style.
