目前,英语课堂教学改革愈来愈深入,强调“以学生为中心”的高效课堂模式愈来愈受到英语教学的关注。但是在目前的英语课堂教学中,一些教师没有对自己的角色准确定位,课堂的“主人意识”太浓,灌输语言知识,讲解语法概念成为主体,包办的内容过多,学生自我操控时间过少,导致课堂活动过死。学生的中心地位被忽视,英语学习的自主性与积极性被人为压制,从而导致了英语课堂费时低效和学生英语学习兴趣的丧失。高中英语课应综合考虑中学生的身心发展和认知规律,以制定出符合他们年龄和心理特征的课程。高中英语课的任务在《英语课程标准》中是这样界定的:激发培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习
