科学主义本土化是在中国救亡图存的特殊历史背景下逐步深入的。虽然中西科学主义在本质和内涵上是相通的,但是由于实用理性这样的深层文化根源,科学主义在中国的发展存在着明显有别于西方的特色。它近乎平步青云地被国人接受而充当了价值权威,因此缺少严密的逻辑体系和必要的张力,并且一直在实践的层面上对中国社会的发展产生重大的影响。这种考察和梳理展现了科学主义在价值诉求、社会背景、文化根基、存在形态和发展境遇等方面的中国特质。
The localization of Scientism has been gradually deepened under the special historic background of China’s salvation. Although Chinese and Western scientism are similar in nature and connotation, due to the deep cultural roots such as practical reason, the development of Scientism in China is obviously different from that in the West. It is accepted by the Chinese as a matter of course and acts as the authority of value. Therefore, it lacks a strict logic system and the necessary tension, and has always had a significant impact on the development of Chinese society at the practical level. This investigation and combing shows the Chinese traits of scien- tificism in value aspirations, social background, cultural foundations, existing forms and development conditions.
