张传保、赵家荪修,陈训正、马瀛纂的民国《鄞县通志》以规模宏大、体例新颖、编纂科学而著称,出版时间历十八年之久。天一阁藏有其编纂机构鄞县通志馆的财务档案48册,该档案分为两个阶段,一为1933年至1936年,一为1947年至1948年,这正是《鄞县通志》编纂与印行最主要的两个时段。这批收支报表及附粘的单据发票为研究《鄞县通志》编纂过程提供了丰富的资料,它们也是研究民国时期大型出版物编印细节的第一手材料,并且具有反映民国时期浙东政治、经济、文化、商业、风俗、生活的史料价值。
