由芝达林创作的二胡曲《吟·咏·叹》,描写了黄河流域黄土高原上的风俗、世态和人情。这部作品的创作特点首先是,作者用黄土高原的民间音乐和戏曲音乐中的元素作为创作素材;(其中第一首“吟”的主题材料,来源于晋南的蒲剧和唢呐曲牌;第二首“咏”的主题材料,来源于晋西北高原的山歌;第三首“叹”的主题材料,来源于山西洪洞的道情音乐)其次是,作者将中国民族音乐与西方传统的结构原则和近现代作曲技术理论相结合。由于这样的创作思想,使二胡曲《吟·咏·叹》既保持了中国民族音乐文化的传统和特色,又体现了一代专业音乐创作的开拓精神。
The erhu song “Yin chant sigh” by Zha Dalin describes the customs, worldly conditions and human feelings on the Loess Plateau in the Yellow River Basin.
