The Hohhot section of the Yellow River is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River boundary and is a transitional section of a plain channel to a canyon-shaped channel. It can be vividly summarized as a “three-bend-one-gorge reservoir”. The article analyzes the main causes of ice flood disaster and discusses its defensive measures.
