文学和经济学是与人们精神和物质生活息息相关的两个学科,它们之间存在着一定的联系。《老无所依》是美国作家科马克·麦卡锡的第九部小说,通常被归为西部小说的范畴。这部小说随着美墨边境一场毒品交易失败展开了一场猫鼠般的追逐。本文欲为文学作品的解读提供一个新的角度,从经济学的视角对小说进行阐释,运用诸如理性经济人假设、成本-收益分析、“看不见的手”等经济学原理对其进行经济学解读,并表达麦卡锡对重商主义社会道德沦丧的批判和对今后社会发展的担忧。
Literature and economics are two disciplines closely related to people’s spiritual and material life, and there is a certain connection between them.
