等高耕作五谷丰登(贵州省坡耕地生态农业建设的一种方法)

万物根固于土,命系于水。土是根,水是命。故尔,水土保持是地球上整个大陆生态系统中最核心的命题。在贵州省,坡耕地的水土保持又是全省生态系统中核心命题的重点课题之一。据估计:贵州省水土流失面积现约4万km~2,其中,至少有2万km~2是坡耕地,每年从坡耕地表流失且由各河口外泄的泥沙量可达4850万吨,占全省总外泄量(约6000万吨)的75%左右,相当于每年从坡耕地中流失457.5km~2耕地表土(约合100kg/m~2);每年由坡耕地地表迁移而失效的土壤不下1.5亿吨,相当于每年迁移性损失氮磷钾三素化肥131万吨,远远超过了贵州省现有坡耕地氮磷钾三素化肥施肥水平。仅仅从坡耕地表迁移性损失的氮磷钾三素化肥,每年便值数亿元人民币;这大致和1983年贵州省玉米的总产值相近(1983年玉米总产约42亿斤。)按美国水土保持局办法,将流失所造成的工程、水文、环保、兽禽、鱼虾、微生物乃至城镇工业等连锁损失也一一加以估算则贵州省每年从坡耕地上因水土流失导致综合性的宏观经济损失,不下于10亿元 Everything rooted in the soil, life tied to the water.
