日本神户钢铁厂研制出可焊性优良的锅炉、压力容器钢板。使用该钢板可节省焊接能源和改善作业环境。新钢板是锅炉、压力容器用JIS·SB46、SB46M钢板的改良产品。为保证SB46、SB46M钢板的强度,新钢板碳含量较高,但碳含量较高会使钢板在低温焊接时易产生焊接裂纹。因此,该公司一方面降低碳含量,以防止焊接裂纹的产生,一方面通过添加少量或微量的特种合金,来弥补因碳含量减少而造成的强度下降。
Japan Kobe Steel Works developed a good boiler solderability, pressure vessel steel. Using this steel plate saves welding energy and improves the working environment. The new steel plate is a modified product of JIS SB46 and SB46M steel plates for boilers and pressure vessels. In order to ensure the strength of SB46 and SB46M steel plates, the carbon content of the new steel plate is higher, but the higher carbon content will cause the steel plate to easily produce welding cracks when welding at low temperature. Therefore, the company on the one hand to reduce the carbon content, to prevent the generation of welding cracks, on the one hand through the addition of small or trace special alloys, to compensate for the reduction of carbon content caused by the decline in strength.
