2009年初,受国际金融危机影响,吴江市不少企业自去年底开始停止招聘甚至裁员,致使许多劳动力资源流失。然而仅仅时隔半年,从二季度开始,经济回暖势头越来越明显,新一轮“招工难”让众多企业猝不及防,迅速上升的订单让企业措手不及,急需招聘大量熟练工人,但即使提高了工资待遇,仍然缺口很大。从全市人力资源市场反馈信息来看,下半年以来仍有部分求职者未能实现顺利就业,人力资源市场出现了“招工难、求职难”并存的双重压力。
