截至2010年8月底,新疆新华水电投资股份有限公司5年多来的总投资规模100亿元,并网发电的水电站已有5座,年发电量近10亿千瓦时,运营、在建总装机规模近900兆瓦。目前,还有5座水电站正在加速建设,阿尔塔什、乔巴特等一批拟开发水电工程项目正在积极筹建之中。这将对新疆的防洪、灌溉以及推动新疆经济社会发展,都会发挥重要作用。
As of the end of August 2010, Xinjiang’s Xinhua Hydropower Investment Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 10 billion yuan over the past five years and has five grid-connected hydropower stations with an annual generating capacity of nearly 1 billion kilowatt-hours. The scale of nearly 900 megawatts. At present, there are five hydropower stations under construction. Accelerated construction of a number of hydropower projects to be developed, such as Altas and Qiabat, is under active construction. This will play an important role in flood control and irrigation in Xinjiang and in promoting economic and social development in Xinjiang.
