水份是型砂的主要组成部份之一。控制混砂机中水份的多少,一般是凭工人的经验,用手去摸砂的干湿。因此水份忽高忽低,不能精确控制。型砂过湿,不易出模;型砂过干,容易塌箱,严重影响生产质量和生产率。我厂由西德引进了一套FK-FS-Ⅱ型型砂水份自动控制仪,用来自动控制混砂机中型砂的水份。它能自动测定旧砂水份;并能根据给定的混砂量和给定的型砂湿度对混砂机进行自动加水。该装置还具有对旧砂温度变化的影响进行目动补偿的能力,也就是当旧砂温度高
