购买蔬菜种子是蔬菜生产中一项不小的开支。省种栽培技术是关系蔬菜生产效益的关键技术。这些技术中,有的可提高种子发芽率、出苗率、成苗率,省种10%～90%。有的可不用种子,免去种子投资。湖北省孝感市孝南区蔬菜生产专业户陈水松应用“嗑籽脱帽”技术栽培无籽西瓜提高发芽率85%,成苗率50%;用“再生栽培”技术栽培的秋茄子、秋辣椒没有花1分钱的用种投资;应用“偷娘”技术栽培的生姜把购种花的800多元投资全部从种姜地里“偷”了回来。为了帮助广大农民朋友学会这些实用技术,在“全民节约,共同行动”的活动中获得增产增收的好效益。本刊特再请潘胜屏老师撰稿传播。
