Along the commercial citrus growing areas on both banks of the Murray River in South Australia, the use of tiny parasitic wasps to control pests does not require the use of any dangerous pesticides. Family fruit growers want to produce good quality citrus without the use of toxic insecticides and can also apply biological control methods.
