阴郁的飘雪,衰败的厂房,残旧的机车,若有若无之间的寂寥人声。纪录片《铁西区》的开篇冗长缓慢,了无希望的沉闷气息压得人喘不过气。铁西区位于辽宁省沈阳市,是中国历史最长、规模最大的机械加工业基地和基建配套工业基地。在东北这个被誉为“共和国长子”的老工业基地,铁西区极具象征意义,它的兴衰是整个东北命运的缩影。影片反映的正是1999～2001年间的铁西区,当时的铁西区30万产业大军,十万人丢掉饭碗。东北要往哪里去?

The opening of the documentary “Tiexi District” is lengthy and slow, with an overwhelming tone of hopeless dullness. Tiexi District is located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China’s longest history, the largest mechanical processing industry base and infrastructure supporting industrial base. In the northeast, an old industrial base hailed as “the eldest son of the Republic,” Tiexi District is extremely symbolic. Its rise and fall is a microcosm of the fate of the entire northeast. The film reflects the Tiexi District from 1999 to 2001, when Tiexi District 300,000 industry forces, one hundred thousand people lost their jobs. Northeast where to go?
