CABI、AGRICOLA和AGRIS被誉为世界三大著名农业情报检索数据库。CABI数据库以文摘为主,是查找农业、林业、畜牧业及相关学科专业文献的有效途径。它收录了1万多种连续出版物,每年新增加文献数据达13万条。目前,整个数据库已拥有从1972年—1989年期间200多万条记录,可供联机检索使用。此外,继AGRICOLA推出自己的光盘产品之后,CABI最近也生产出了1984—1989年六年的CABCD光盘产品,供用户脱机检索使用。最新推出的CABCD光盘共分两卷(两个盘),第一卷收录1984—1986年的数据,第二卷收录1987—1989年的数据,六年光盘数据总量达75万条记录。
CABI, AGRICOLA and AGRIS are honored as the world’s three famous agricultural information retrieval databases. CABI database mainly abstracts, is an effective way to find the professional literature of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and related disciplines. It contains more than 10,000 kinds of serial publications, each additional document data up to 130,000. Currently, the entire database already has more than 2 million records from 1972 to 1989 and is available for on-line search. In addition, following the launch of its own optical disc products by AGRICOLA, CABI recently produced CABCD disc products for the six years from 1984 to 1989 for offline retrieval. The latest CABCD disc is divided into two volumes (two discs), the first volume contains 1984-1986 data, the second volume contains 1987-1989 data, six years of CD-ROM data amounted to 750,000 records.
