The dynamic interactions between the phases and the microstructure of the six thermosensitive liquid crystal polymer (TLCP) blends were observed by dynamic mechanical spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The shift of the peak toward the inside of the components to a larger or smaller extent suggests that there are strong and weak interphase interactions in these blends. The morphology of the TLCP phase contained in each blend was spheroidal, ellipsoid, stripe and microfibrillar. The results show that there is no direct correlation between phase-to-phase and microfibril formation in TLCP incompatible polymer blends.
