“安宁河流域考古调查”是成都文物考古研究所和凉山彝族自治州博物馆的合作考古项目。2004年12月,进行了该项目的第一次考古调查,咪咪啷遗址的调查与试掘是此次调查试掘的遗址之一。该遗址于2004年5月由凉山彝族自治州博物馆考古队测量安宁河流域大石墓时发现。遗址位于西昌市樟木乡李家沟六组,地处安宁河西岸的二级台地上,地理坐标为北纬28°01′11.9″,东经102°07′50.1″(图一);海拔高度为1540~1550米。两条近东西向的季节性冲沟从遗址两侧流过,遗址文化堆积保存较好的部位主要位于台地靠近冲沟突出的部位,台地中部由于民居取土破坏,保存情况较差,当地的建筑传统普遍使用厚达53厘米的夯土墙,故对泥土需求量非常巨大,农民建筑取土
“Anning River Basin Archaeological Survey ” is the cooperation of archeology project of Chengdu Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology and Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture Museum. In December 2004, the first archaeological survey of the project was carried out. The survey and trial excavation of the Mimi Mountain site was one of the sites under trial excavation. The site was discovered in May 2004 by the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture Museum of Archeology team measuring the Anning River basaltic stone tomb. The site is located in Lijiagou six groups of Zhangmu Township, Xichang City, and is located on the secondary platform of the Anning River in the west bank. The geographical coordinates are 28 ° 01’11.9 “north latitude and 102 ° 07’50.1” east longitude (Figure 1); the altitude is 1540 ~ 1550 meters. Two seasonal east-west ravines flowed from both sides of the site. The sites with better preserved cultural deposits were mainly located near the prominent gully of the platform.
