Angle Ⅲ类畸形(前牙反(牙合))是一种常见的错(牙合)畸形,它不仅有碍于颜面的美观,更严重的是还会影响咀嚼功能和颜面的生长发育。因此许多学者都提倡早期治疗。常用的矫治器有:(牙合)垫矫治器、斜面导板、固定矫治器及功能矫治器等。功能矫治器的作用是通过矫治器控制(牙合)面部肌肉的功能刺激,选择性地限制或促进颌骨某一部分的生长发育,以影响牙齿的萌生及位置,从而达到纠正错(牙合)的目的。本文中作者采用功能性矫治器(FR—Ⅲ)治疗10例AngleⅢ类错(牙合)患者,取得了较满意的效果。
