据悉,韩国LG化学公司已经退出巴拉特石油公司(BPCL)位于印度南部喀拉拉邦科钦炼油厂附近投资600亿印度卢比(9.56亿美元)的石化项目。BPCL在2012年7月与LG化学签署合资建设该石化项目的谅解备忘录。BPCL表示,尽管LG化学退出了该项目,但是公司承诺将继续推进该项目的建设。BPCL当前正在研究与另一家公司组建合资企业或获得必要技术的可能性。
It is reported that South Korea’s LG Chemical Company has withdrawn from Baltic Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is located in southern India Kerala near Kelun refinery investment 60 billion Indian rupee (956 million US dollars) in the petrochemical project. In July 2012, BPCL signed a memorandum of understanding with LG Chem to jointly construct the petrochemical project. BPCL said although LG Chem withdrew from the project, the company promised to continue the construction of the project. BPCL is currently studying the possibility of forming a joint venture with another company or acquiring the necessary technology.
