教育家蔡元培先生曾指出:“凡是学校所有的课程都没有与美育无关的”。语文课也是如此。在新课程中“语文教学不仅要训练学生听、说、读、写的能力,而且要注重培养学生健康、高尚的审美观和爱国主义精神”这一要求意味着语文课不仅要担负起培养学生的高尚的道德,发展学生智力的任务,还要对学生进行审美的教育。也就是说,语文教学必须是德育、智育、美育的有机统一在新课程中我们应采用一定的教学手段,把 The educator Mr. Cai Yuanpei once pointed out: “Every school curriculum is not related to aesthetic education.” The same is true of language lessons.
