用聚晶立方氮化硼刀片精加工表面淬火的螺旋伞齿轮,质量标准达到了AGMA12~13,而且还淘汰了费用高、工时长的磨削和抛光工序。过去是先在软的齿轮毛坯上切出齿,经淬火或表面淬火,然后用磨削或抛光精加工。精加工的且的是减少齿形和齿距偏差,即减少周节变化和周节误差来提高齿轮的总体精度。齿轮总体精度和光洁度的提高,使它的负荷能力(传递扭矩)和寿命也相应提高。这是因为齿的啮合图形更大,更加均匀,因而载荷分布更平稳,且减少了载荷磨损;此外,提高齿的光洁度也有助于改善齿轮的性能。
