利用振动阻尼材料可抑制板材结构的弯曲振动。该措施用来降低从板材辐射到空中的声级,改善消声及减少声学疲劳。采用无定形热塑性聚合物可获得最高阻尼效果。业已能研制出在所规定的温度和频率范围内具有最佳阻尼效果的振动阻尼材料。它们可作为板材或金属板一侧的覆盖层使用,以及用于由两块外板和位于其中间的粘弹性阻尼层所组成的复合板(夹层)系统。这种由板材和阻尼层组成的多层系统已在工程技术上获得广泛应用。
The vibration damping material is used to suppress the bending vibration of the sheet structure. This measure is used to reduce the sound level radiated from the plate to the air, to improve the noise reduction and to reduce acoustic fatigue. The highest damping effect is achieved with amorphous thermoplastic polymers. Vibration damping materials have been developed which have the best damping effect over the specified temperature and frequency range. They can be used as a covering on one side of a sheet or sheet metal, and as a composite panel (sandwich) system consisting of two outer plates and a viscoelastic damping layer in between. This multi-layer system consisting of sheet and damping layer has been widely applied in engineering and technology.
