在城市化发展进程不断推进的今天,人们对于城市环境已经突破了方便生活的单一要求,朝着多元化、精神化的层次发展。在城市发展中,“硬件”的建设必不可少,而“软饰”的作用也逐渐突出,其中公共空间的艺术化设计就是体现城市文化底蕴,提升城市精神面貌的关键。在现代艺术设计中,陶艺的应用越来越广泛,其朴实优美的造型不仅能够展现中国传统工艺,更能够装饰城市空间,因此本文从陶艺在公共艺术中的应用价值出发,对现代陶艺与公共艺术的关系进行探索。
