多轴运动控制一直是很多机床生产厂家所需求的重要方向,也是衡量数控系统优劣的一项重要技术指标.但是,目前大多数数控系统生产厂家多提供4～5轴控制系统,而能提供6轴以上控制系统的厂家寥寥无几,且价格十分昂贵,使很多用户望而却步;与此同时,很大一部分用户所需求的多轴运动控制,并不要求多轴同时进行联动,而只需要3～4轴实现联动即可,其余轴则为简单位置控制.
