Objective To investigate the changes of serum anti-Hla and anti-PVL of S. aureus toxin in children with S.aureus infection. Methods A total of 120 children admitted to our hospital from June 2010 to December 2012 were selected as study subjects and divided into PSS (primary skin and soft tissue infection), RSS (repeated skin and soft tissue infection) and ISS according to the degree of S.aureus infection (In-depth infection). The levels of anti-Hla and antiPVL in serum of S.aureus toxins in acute phase and convalescent phase were measured respectively. Forty healthy children were used as control to conduct comparative analysis between groups. Results The levels of S.aureus toxin antibody in acute and convalescent groups were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.001), and there was also a significant difference between groups (P <0.05). The levels of anti-Hla, Anti-LukS and anti-LukF 3 indicators were significantly higher than the other two groups (P <0.05). The levels of anti-Hla and anti-LukF in convalescent PSS patients were significantly lower than those in acute phase (P <0.05) and LukS levels were not significantly different (P> 0.05). The levels of anti-Hla, anti-LukS and anti (P <0.05). The levels of anti-Hla and anti-LukF 2 in convalescent ISS patients were significantly increased (P <0.05), LukS no significant changes (P> 0.05) . Conclusions The infection of S. aureus is closely related to Hla, LukS and LukF, and the levels of anti-Hla, anti-LukS and anti-LukF are closely related to the degree of S. aureus infection, which can be used as an important index in clinical diagnosis and prognosis evaluation.
