藏戏于2006年进入国家级非物质文化遗产名录,2009年被评为联合国非物质文化遗产,政府在政策和资金上给予较大支持。在现代娱乐方式的大力冲击下,西藏传统民间艺术的生存空间愈发狭窄,藏戏等藏民族传统的文化娱乐方式面临传承危机,如人亡艺诀、资金短缺、剧目单一、演出场地受限,藏戏传承危机的根源在于记忆链的断裂。非物质文化遗产最终保护的就是记忆,藏戏的传承必须做好记忆链的接续。需要注意的问题有:藏戏记忆的选择;藏戏记忆的创新;记忆传承的多元化;充分尊重传承主体。
